Servicing the 4R44E/4R55E

FORD does not currently sell an overhaul and gasket kit to service the 4R44E /4R55E transmissions. Until an overhaul and seal kit is available, use an A4LD service kit (FOTZ-7L391-B) and use the parts shown in the chart instead of those found in the A4LD kit. If the listed parts are not used, the transmission may be damaged.
